  • Jan 2009 IBIS 2 software Fischer-Cripps Laboratories releases IBIS2 nanoindentation software for its UMIS and IBIS instruments. This is a new implementation of the software using the VB.NET language.
  • Jan 2009 IBIS Nanoindentation System released The IBIS nanoindentation system is now available as an update to the UMIS standards-grade nanoindenter. The IBIS system retains the exact same circuitry and sensors that characterise UMIS, but house the hardware in an economical head and frame assembly with a choice of fitments to suit available budget.
