standards-grade nanoindentation test instrument. It features
exceptional build quality throughout with no compromise on stability
and robustness. UMIS was developed by the National Standards
Laboratory in Australia. Results from UMIS instruments were used to
formulate the ISO14577 standard on instrumented indentation. No other nanoindenter on the market has the integrity of calibration, quality
and longevity that is a hallmark of every UMIS instrument made. UMIS has been superceded by IBIS. However, support is available for existing UMIS customers. |
